Little Reserve Playground, Portarlington

At Little Reserve Playground in Portarlington, we collaborated with the client, artists, playground equipment specialists, and landscape contractors to create a play space reflective of the seaside environment and Portarlington's fishing heritage. We incorporated cargo nets, timber elements, wharf timbers, and sand soft-fall material to reinforce the connection to the harbor town. Sculptural elements highlight local indigenous marine life, enhancing the cultural experience. The playground's design maximizes sweeping sea views, with carefully placed play equipment and picnic spaces. Custom-made play structures at the high point offer stunning views of the Portarlington seaside and the Melbourne skyline, making it a unique family destination.
